Biografía

Vocalist and songwriter daughter of two cultures: Palestinian and Galician. At 17, she starts playing guitar and her compositions become more personal, her voice is influenced by jazz, rock or world music. She has a degree in Music Education, Jazz and Modern Music; she deepens in vocal technique and pedagogy. Between 2003-2011 she collaborates in publications and incorporates new influences in her language, Brazilian and African sounds mixed with her roots and jazz that leaves a footprint on her evolution. She debuts in 2013 with the CD-book "Na lingua que eu falo", an elegant and deep look at the poems of Rosalía de Castro; the Galician-Palestinian composer gathers her musical background to create an intimate and delicate work. In 2016, guided by her growing curiosity and the need to learn more about her roots, she moved temporarily to Jordan to explore into Arabic singing and the theory of oriental music. Her latest work, "Ela sabe a sol", was born from this stay showing the mix of cultures that characterize her with her own unique international sound.
